PolicyShift.ca and its sub-brands (including For The Record) may use AI-driven production tools to create videos and other social media content that visualize and communicate political data, timelines, and positions for educational and informational purposes.

  • Factual, Sourced Content: Each piece of media is based on factual, sourced information, including real images of politicians and direct quotes drawn from reputable news agencies and/or official records. Sources are clearly cited within the media where presented.
  • AI Used for Assembly and Visualization: The role of AI is to help assemble, format, and visualize this information (for example, creating timelines, captions, and summaries on-screen) to make it easier to understand and more accessible.
  • No Fabrication of Positions: We do not fabricate quotes or invent positions. The positions and statements shown are real and documented in the cited sources. However, as with other AI-assisted features on PolicyShift, content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or omissions.

6. Reporting Errors

We take accuracy seriously. If you find a verifiable error in a politician's profile or a policy shift, please let us know. We will review and correct it as quickly as possible.
