Saskatchewan Safe Public Spaces law takes effect Aug 1
Tim McLeod supports the Safe Public Spaces (Street Weapons) Act, saying it preserves Charter protections and the Criminal Code, addresses rising incidents of openly carried dangerous items (machetes, bear spray), and gives police an additional tool to protect public safety.
